Private companies, driven by profit, have incentive to run tighter ships and are (relatively) free from bureaucratic government interference. If "UPS and FedEx are doing just fine" then let UPS and FedEx handle the mail.

Last post we reported that radio/television personality Glenn Beck was receiving death threats on Twitter. Today it is actor Scott Baio receiving the morbid tweets.

An individual calling them self "timafi" sent Baio the following:

@RealScottBaio a GRAND WIZARD like YOU Scott Baio should be PUT DOWN and someone will PUT YOU DOWN.YOU;your WIFE and KID

@RealScottBaio easy to find your house Scottie boy and finish YOU. I am a republican and I love Mrs O.

Mr Baio contacted Twitter to report the threats and posted the following:

PLEASE NOTE: The FBI has been contacted & we have a file number for the threats, along with twitter support. Thx

Let's hope that this individual is found and prosecuted. Anonymous threats, especially concerning one's family, are disgusting and unacceptable. How prevalent is this behavior on Twitter and what are they doing about it?
