Who is Ben Froland?

Ben Froland is the founder and creator of benfroland.com. Ben is a Christian, veteran, husband, historian, and entrepreneur. He holds degrees in Mechanical Design and Business as well has having earned a Project Management Professional certification and a patent.

Ben, like so many others, became frustrated with the corruption and arrogance of the many government officials who protect their own self-interests and have failed to represent their constituents. This blog was created to give Ben and others like him an opportunity to voice their opinions and keep informed. This is done with an emphasis on the following:

• History – “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.”
– George Santayana

• Current Events – “Time is a sort of river of passing events, and strong is its current; no sooner is a thing brought to sight than it is swept by and another takes its place, and this too will be swept away.”
– Marcus Aurelius

• The Founders and the Constitution – “A primary object should be the education of our youth in the science of government. In a republic, what species of knowledge can be equally important? And what duty more pressing than communicating it to those who are to be the future guardians of the liberties of the country?”
– George Washington

• Americana – “I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives. I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him.”
- Abraham Lincoln

• Positive Solutions – “For myself I am an optimist – it does not seem to be much use being anything else”
– Winston Churchill

“I must study politics and war that my sons may have liberty to study mathematics and philosophy. My sons ought to study mathematics and philosophy, geography, natural history, naval architecture, navigation, commerce, and agriculture, in order to give their children a right to study painting, poetry, music, architecture, statuary, tapestry, and porcelain.”
– John Adams
